Art Direction & Photography
My creative journey began at 16 with my father's weathered, 1971 Canon FTb and an expired roll of film. The camera suddenly offered a fresh perspective to observe the world around me and a creative means to express it. Years later, at the University of Michigan, I fell into the world of graphic arts and design.
Today I work as the Creative & Branding Director for the American Alpine Club, a national non-profit organization which advocates for climbers and climbing environments in the United States. I also conduct contract work in art direction, brand identity and development, graphic design, and photography, serving a wide variety of clients across several industries.
Published internationally and recognized by several awards, my work has been featured in Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic, Photo District News, Rock & Ice, RAUS!, Adventure Sports Journal, the University of Michigan LS&A Magazine, and others.
I am based and work remotely from Bishop, California.
